SMITHSTON STERLING 2ND AT ROYAL HIGHLAND SHOW
Smithston Sterling stood 2nd in the shearling ram class at the Royal Highland Show. Judge Kenny Mair placed him 2nd behind last years Edinburgh champion Cairness Kaos (5000gns) in a strong class of 10. A58:N19 stood 7th in an exceptional class of 21 shearling ewes. The Overall Champion came from Sandy Fraser with his ewe lamb with Robbie Wilson's ram lamb stood reserve.

BORDER CLUB SHOW SUCCESS
An outstanding day was had at the Border Club show held at Wooler auction mart. Winning the championship with A58:N19 a Sitlow Senator daughter out of a Carnforth Magnet sired ewe. Sitlow Senator also sired the 2nd place gimmer A58:N15 and the 1st prized ewe lamb A58:11:005. Smithston Sterling also won the shearling ram class while A58:11:021 sired by Carnforth Cost Cutter out of A58:L2 won the trimmed ram lamb class. Also picking up the best pair and group awards.

CARNFORTH SUFFOLKS HAVE SUCCESSFUL DAY AT NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY SHOW
A Carnforth Costcutter son claimed the reserve male championship at Northumberland county show on monday. This stylish twin from last years show gimmer won a strong class of ram lambs. 

A58:N21 1ST PRIZE MLC RAM LAMB SHREWSBURY NATIONAL SALE
A58:N21 was placed 1st in the MLC class at the suffolk sheep society national sale held at shrewsbury. Unfortunatley we didn't sell him so is available privately or he will be forward athe the Carlisle and Northern Counties Sale on the 13th August.

A58:L2 TAKES CHAMPIONSHIP AT NORTH WEST CLUB SHOW
A58:L2 wins champion at North West suffolk breeders club show held at Lancaster auction. Judge Annie Hutcheon placed the Westcarse premier daughter champion and also best female in breeders hands. A58:N5 also took the Best Male in breeders hands prize. This powerful son of Birness Back In Black is destined for Edinburgh Sale at Ingliston.

SITLOW LAMB PURCHASED FOR NEW STOCK SIRE
An outstanding son of Sitlow Centurion (8000gns National Sale Champion 2008) has been purchased in Edinburgh for 900gns from Steve and Louise Buckley!  45Z:L65  A triplet lamb with great style and power, we look forward to his first crop of lambs in 2010!

CARNFORTH LAMB 4TH SIGNET RECORDED NATIONAL SALE 2009

A58:L5 was placed 4th in the signet recorded class at the National sale held at Shrewsbury.  He went on to sell the following day for 680gns. A son of Carnforth Magnet out of A58:F19 a Sitlow Summit daughter, his full brother was also fourth in the same class in 2007.
